Trouble is, humid, hot weather that could cause mascara to
run — leaving you with black smudges. That’s where eyelash
extensions come to the rescue.
“Semi‑permanent eyelash extensions are single strands of
synthetic lashes that are applied on to your own natural lashes,”
says Trish McAdams‑Burt, owner of New Attitude Salon and Day
Spa in Palmer Township. “Each synthetic strand is tapered at the
tip with a thick base and curled to replicate a natural lash.”
These aren’t your momma’s fake eyelashes either.
The lash stylist attaches each extension to one natural lash at a
time — 60 to 120 extensions per eye.
Trish says routine touch ups every 2 to 4 weeks can have your
eyelashes stay looking their best.
“The results are a gorgeous, natural appearance,” she says.
“With summer coming, what more can a girl ask for?”
