Now that fall is getting into full swing, there are
some things that should be a part of your beauty
routine as temperatures get colder.
Trish McAdams-Burt, owner of New Attitude Salon and
Day Spa in Palmer Township, shares a few tips to keep you
looking your best heading into fall and winter:
n Update your color palette: Fall is a colorful
season and your makeup shines with deep, saturated hues.
Think jewel and earthy tones — including grays.
n Don’t forget to moisturize: Colder temperatures
and changing weather can play havoc with your skin. Keep
it looking smooth and supple with moisturizer and don’t
forget sunscreen.
n Trim those tresses: Summer sun and fun can dry
out hair and lead to split ends. Get hair into shape for the
coming holiday season, too, with conditioners. Fall is a great
time to try something different too — bangs or a new color.
