Hike the Appalachian Trail
at Bake Oven
This section of the Appalachian Trail is an easy walk on packed visit thinkpinknights.com
earth, so this event is good for children over age 8. The hike
kicks off at 10 a.m. from the second Bake Oven Road parking
area and is more than 2 miles in length. Sturdy shoes and a
walking stick are recommended. Leashed dogs are welcome;
bring binoculars and/or a camera as Bear Rock on the trail
is a great place to watch migrating hawks. Event is free, but

Lehigh Valley Cider and Wine Festival
The 2016 Lehigh Valley Cider and Wine Festival — an on-field
event featuring hard cider and wine tastings from local and
regional cideries and wineries — makes its return on Sat., Oct. 14th annual Historic Turkey Trot 5K
22 and Sun., Oct. 23 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Coca-Cola
