                                                                                                   because Pils rocks!
                                                                                       WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR JOB? Working with a great group of people to
                                                                                       make beer that I love to drink.
                                                                                       EVER HAVE ANY BREW IDEAS THAT DIDN’T WORK? Ha — for sure! We wouldn’t be good
                                                                                       brewers if we weren’t prepared to make a few mistakes. We tried to
                                                                                       make a stout inspired by these chocolate and orange candies … good
                                                                                       idea (I think), but it was really terrible.
                                                                                       WHAT ARE A FEW OF YOUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THE LEHIGH VALLEY? It’s a good community
                                                                                       with lots of parks; has a great brewing community, is close to Philly
                                                                                       and New York City, close to the mountains …
                                                                                       WHAT WAS THE THOUGHT PROCESS BEHIND YOUR BRÜNICORN SERIES? We wanted a way of
                                                                                       selling small-batch beers from our pilot system or our barrel program. It
                                                                                       gives us the opportunity to expand those programs without the delay of
                                                                                       label design for each release. The “Brünicorn” logo looks like something
                                                                                       you would have seen painted on the side of a ’70s van, just awesome!
                                                                                       WHAT’S ONE THING YOU WISH MORE PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT  BEER? Style is a rough
                                                                                       guideline, not a law!
                                                                                       WHAT’S ONE THING PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO LEARN ABOUT YOU? Though I do not
                                                                                       have a heavy accent, I was born and raised in Inman, S.C. South
                                                                                       Carolina proud!
