[Meadery] in the same building so the groups that come
through usually circle through the building. At County
Seat, when we know we have a group like a bachelor party
we will often do something special for the group. In the
past, we’ve provided advance tastings of not-yet released
products and different cask tastings from whiskey barrels
for a unique experience.”
“We’ve hosted quite a few bachelor parties this past year,”
says Randy McKinley, president of Manatawny Still Works in
Berks County. “It has definitely become the ‘thing to do’ …
we’ve had the mini buses pull up and twelve to fifteen guys
come in for a private tour and tasting of the spirits. We’d set
them up in the back, in the barrel room. They have a few
cocktails and have fun.”
If alcohol isn’t your liquid of choice, there’s always
water. Just add a raft, some paddles, a bunch of friends
and let the river mix things up. Sarah Zurawa, marketing
assistant at Skirmish Paintball — sister company of Pocono
