will warm you and set your taste buds dancing at Taps
Tavern in Bethlehem. German Wursts is a dish that includes
Bratwurst and Smoked Krainerwurst, served with mashed

mustard gravy.
The wursts featured in this dish are
locally sourced from Karl Ehmer Meats
in Allentown and that is just one of the
special things about Taps.
The restaurant features an
expansive menu with monthly seafood
selections, 60 beers on draft and a
seasonal martini menu. Kick back and

Head chef THE REBEL BURGER
Photos courtesy of the Tavern at the Sun Inn Sometimes a collection of simple ingredients can come together to
create something magical. The Rebel Burger at the Tavern at the Sun
Inn in Bethlehem is a delectable feast for the eyes as well the palate.
“Each individual ingredient speaks for itself, but together they
scream,” says tavern co-owner Brett Biggs. “Beef
from the best stock (certified black angus), the
sharpness of Vermont white cheddar, the light
bitterness of arugula, the bite and crunch of thinly
sliced red onion, a house-smoked ketchup and house-
made spicy pickle slices come together to make an
incredible combination.”
Tavern at the Sun Inn is in a truly unique
location that invokes the past, but is also inspired
by the present.
“It’s a perfect place to have a beer and a burger or
an anniversary dinner,” Biggs says. “There is nothing
else like it around.”
