1774 Grille & Tap         Relaxed, yet upscale, 1774 Grille & Tap in Hellertown features a
                      formal dining room, a casual pub, as well as outdoor seating. Savor the
                      taste of the restaurant’s Little Neck Clams with
                      fresh garlic, tomato, white wine and Colombian
                      chorizo in a marriage of flavors sure to please
                      the palate.

                         “The vibe of our restaurant is casual, not
                      pretentious,” says owner Kim Culver-Adams. “We
                      provide a comfortable, lively and inviting atmosphere.
                      We emphasize local, fresh and upscale fare with
                      fresh, innovative drinks.”

                      Grille hosts a live jazz brunch on Sundays.

                         “We have taken ‘fine dining’ to a new level with
                     ‘upscale’ modern American cuisine,” she says.
                     “We’re making it affordable for anyone to enjoy.”

                                                                     There is no shortage of quality ingredients in White Orchids
                                                                Thai Cuisine’s Bangkok Curry Noodles. The popular entrée is a
                                                                standout for the additions of jumbo lump crab meat, locally-made
                                                                fresh tofu, chicken, shrimp, vermicelli rice noodles, broccoli, green
                                                                beans and cherry tomatoes tossed in a delicious green curry.

                                                                    According to owner Jeff Virojanapa, however, what makes
                                                                the dish a standout is the high quality coconut milk, which is a
                                                                key for curries.

                                                                    “Our green curry for the Bangkok Curry Noodles produces a
                                                                rich, smooth flavor that blends savory with spice,” Virojanapa
                                                                says. “Many curries elsewhere are almost always more water-
                                                                based in which spice tends to overwhelm, and a blending of
                                                                flavors does not occur.”

                                                                    White Orchids Thai Cuisine uses no MSG or trans fats in
                                                                their ingredients, and also offers a wide variety of gluten-free
                                                                options. The restaurant has also won awards for best ethnic
                                                                and Thai cuisine every year since it opened a decade ago.
