says. “The dialog, the acting, the story. Just a brilliant
piece of filmmaking.”

Escape From New York (1981): This is pure B movie
brilliance. John Carpenter and Kurt Russell deliver a
story about what would happen if the entire island of
Manhattan became a maximum security prison.
