100 cars pulled by multiple diesel locomotives? Inside the
Black Diamond Society of Model Engineers building at 900
E. Macada Road, Bethlehem, during the group’s 49th annual
Railroad Days from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays on
the above dates, and also Feb. 6, 7, 13 and 14. Admission
is $5 per person, free under 12. Bring a step stool for those
under 40 inches tall to better see the displays, which are

Third Annual Chili Cook Off
Sample the chili entries of six competing chefs and vote for
your favorite during a cook-off benefiting the West Penn Fire
Company from noon to 3 p.m. at the Galen Glen Winery,
255 Winter Mountain Drive, Andreas. For a $1 donation you
can sample each chili and either Chambourcin or Cellar Red
wine. For $5, sample each chili and enjoy a 5-ounce glass
of either Chambourcin or Cellar Red wine. The winery will
match all donations. The snow date is Jan. 30. For more

Winter Restaurant Week
The Downtown Bethlehem Association announces Winter
Restaurant Week will be held Jan. 24-30 in Bethlehem’s
Historic District. Nearly all downtown restaurants have
websites to check to see if they are participating and for
their Restaurant Week menus. If not, call them. No passes,
tickets or coupons are required. Enjoy special prix fixe
breakfasts/lunches ($5, $10, $15) or dinners ($10, $20,
$25, $30, $35, $40). Some reservations advised. Diners
can enter a contest for up to $1,000 in restaurant gift
