 Contest starts at 12:01 AM (ET) on 11/1/15 and ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on 12/1/15 ("Contest Period"). To enter, submit your cookie recipe and an essay describing why the submitted recipe is special by 11:59 PM on 11/17/15. Complete the required data fields and send us a photo of your cookies. Contest is open to legal residents of the state open to legal U.S. residents residing within 50 miles of Morning Call office who are 13 & older as of 11/1/15. Void where prohibited & outside PA & NJ. Employees (and employees' immediate family members living in the same household) of The Morning Call and its advertising companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and its promotion contractors are not eligible to participate. At the close of the Contest Period, a voting period will open for the public to vote on the submitted cookie recipes from 12:01 AM (ET) on 11/19/15 until 12:00 PM (ET) on 12/1/15. The 13 submissions that have received the most votes on www.themorningcall.com/cookies will be chosen as semi-finalists. On 12/8/15 at an evening event be to held at PBS 39 in Bethlehem, PA, a panel of judges consisting of a Morning Call reader, Morning Call personalities and guest judges from Lehigh Supply Appliance will taste the cookies and determine the five finalists. Semi-finalists must be able to attend the judging event on 12/8/15 to be eligible to be a finalist. Finalists may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release. The finalists will be featured in the 12/16/15 Food section of The Morning Call including publication of their recipe, photo and essay. The finalists will not be revealed at judging event on December 8, 2015.
